A Message from the Chief
It is my privilege to introduce you to the Marsh Harbour Volunteer Fire Department and the men and women who proudly serve our community. Our department motto is "To protect lives and property." I believe this motto accurately describes our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our citizens.

Our department has made a commitment to the highest standards of excellence in fire service. We have accomplished two major achievements that I believe reflect this commitment.

Since September first 2019 Hurricane Dorian has affected many peoples lives here in Abaco and Grand Bahama but there is still hope especially with organizations like Family Guardian, rtemple Terrace - Tampa, FL, Kay Guiness - Bluehill Maine Fire Dept, Alan Davies, just to name a few.

We had a working Station with five operational trucks after the Hurricane we lost just about everything which puts the Community's at risk for potential House Fires and wild land fires as of now we have one Working Fire Truck. with your assistance we hope to get the Station fixed also purchasing another fire truck on behalf of myself and the rest of the Marsh Harbour Fire Department we would like to thank you for thinking of us in this time of crisis

Our department's success is attributable to our highly trained professional men and women, along with the support of city staff, elected officials, and citizens. I am honored to serve our community as fire chief, and I look forward to continued excellence through service to our community.
